About Black Forest

Ponderosa pines in Black Forest, Colorado

Black Forest takes its name from a dense stand of ponderosa pine. It's an unincorporated community and census-designated place in El Paso County, home to 15,097 people at the 2020 census. In 2006, residents voted down a proposal to become a city. Mail comes through two post offices, Colorado Springs (80908) and Elbert (80106). Plenty of trees, plenty of room, and no city hall required.

Websites for Black Forest businesses

Black Forest is wooded and spread out. Customers rarely stumble onto a business by driving past. Contractors, ranches, and home businesses here get found one way: someone searches, and you show up. A website built for local search is the closest thing to a sign on the highway out here.

Black Forest web services FAQ

I run my business out of my home in Black Forest. Should my address go on my website?

You don't have to. Many home-based businesses list a service area instead of a street address, and that can work fine for local search. What matters is that people know you serve Black Forest and the surrounding area, and that your number is easy to find. We'll set it up whichever way you're comfortable with.

Do I have to be near one of your offices to work with you?

Nope. Most of our work happens by phone, text, email, and screen share. If you are close to a home base and want to meet, great. If not, you are not missing a thing.

What does a website cost?

It depends on what you need, and we will tell you straight. Every quote is free, written down, and specific to your business. No surprise line items later.

Can you move my existing website?

Yes, and website moves are free. We copy everything over, test it, and switch it on once it checks out. You keep working the whole time.

Who owns my domain name?

You do. Always. We register it in your name for $25, renewals are $8 a year, and we handle the setup so you do not have to.
