PayPal Balance is Required

When using your PayPal balance to transfer money, you can send money online for free. If you don't have a balance, you can not avoid the 4% fee.

  1. Log into PayPal
  2. On dashboard, click Add money
  3. Visit Send money page
  4. Type in payee name and click Next
  5. Type desired amount and click Continue
  6. * Add more balance to save time in the future.

  1. If you don’t have a paypal balance you can not “send to friends and family”. So basically, you’d have to fund your account and THAN send money.
