PayPal Balance is Required
When using your PayPal balance to transfer money, you can send money online for free. If you don’t have a balance, you can not avoid the 4% fee.
- Log into PayPal
- On dashboard, click Add money
- Visit Send money page
- Type in payee name and click Next
- Type desired amount and click Continue
- * Add more balance to save time in the future.
If you don’t have a paypal balance you can not “send to friends and family”. So basically, you’d have to fund your account and THAN send money.
